Made with 100% Nebbiolo from Barolo in Peidmont. A Garnet red color with a delicately refined bouquet and taste that is reminiscent of violets, macerated red cherries in bitter sweet dark chocolate with hints of licorice, tobacco, truffles and pepper. On the palate, the wine is full and round, yet austere and elegantly harmonious. The wine undergoes a 3-year aging process in Slavonian and French oak casks followed by bottle aging. Best when served at cellar temperature of 48 to 65F.
