Timorasso arrives in Burgundy and speaks French

Beautiful evening on Thursday 18 July at the “Il Moro” restaurant, thanks to the event announcing the new collaboration between the “Sassaia” brand of Enrico de Alessandrini, the famous 5th generation producer Pierre Naigeon from Gevrey-Chambertin (Burgundy) and the well-known Timorasso wine maker Valter Massa. Sassaia will vinify the Timorasso grape in Gevrey-Chambertin with Pierre Naigeon. Various styles will be used to discover the versatility of Timorasso, a wine already known in the world thanks to the great producers of Tortona. The Derthona Timorasso producers will be invited to Gevrey-Chambertin during the journey to share the winemaking methods. The evening was attended by the former mayor of Capriata Daniele Poggio, Marco Semino Communication consultant, the president of the Consorzio of Colli Tortonesi Gian Paolo Repetto, Silvio Davico, producer of Pomodolce representing the Growers and Producers of the Tortonesi Hills and Daniele Oddone, president of the Consortium for the Protection and Promotion of Ovada.
